The Ford 460 when properly cared for (I use Mobil 1 Filters and Synthetic Motor Oil) will go 250,000 miles, but the same can not be said for the transmission. If you want to know more about the E40D and why I had it rebuilt you can read more about it. Any Airstream B Van on the Ford 1 Ton Van Chassis with 80,000 or more is going to need to be rebuilt.
Mileage is 11-14mpg depending on how fast you drive and if you hit headwinds.
